Need a Different Vpk Option?

VPK Specialized Instructional Services (SIS)

If your child has an Individual Educational Plan (IEP), there is another VPK option designed to better support their needs.

What is VPK SIS?

VPK Specialized Instructional Services (SIS) is an option for children with an IEP who may benefit from services outside of a traditional VPK classroom. Instead of attending a standard VPK program, children in VPK SIS receive specialized support based on their individual needs.

Who is this for?

VPK SIS may be a good fit if:

  • Your child is 4 years old by September 1

  • You live in Florida

  • Your child has a current IEP from your local school district

You will choose VPK SIS during your VPK application process.

If you think this may be the right option for your child,
we recommend learning more before you apply.
