BIOGRAPHY
After graduating with an AA
degree from North Seattle Community College in
Seattle, Washington, Vasheti relocated to Kissimmee,
Florida in 1994 and began her administrative career
with Walt Disney World, Co. where she received an
excellent foundation for executive and office
management, event coordination, and communications.
Vasheti was also on the opening team for Disney’s
Animal Kingdom where she generated practical ideas
for a more efficient work environment.
In 2002 Vasheti began working as a Community and
Public Affairs Representative for Tupperware World
Headquarters. In this capacity, she effectively
managed their corporate donation program and
assisted in the staging of community and corporate
events that led her to pursue a career in the
nonprofit industry.
Vasheti accepted a position with the Early Learning
Coalition of Osceola County in 2003, joining the
staff as the Administrative Coordinator consultant.
In 2006 she transitioned to a permanent employee in
her role as the Program Services Manager where she
successfully implements and manages initiatives
designed to improve the resources and quality of
child care in our community. She enjoys
supporting the Executive Director, board members and
child care providers in this capacity; all of whom
share the common goal of building a brighter future
for Osceola’s children.

BIOGRAPHY
At a young age, Daisy Silva
emigrated from Cuba to the United States to Chicago,
Illinois where she lived for several years before
settling down in Miami, Florida where she obtained
her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
While
in Miami, she worked with Major Appliances as an
Accountant Supervisor for 6 years before accepting
the role of Controller with H&J Paving Corporation,
where she was responsible for all accounting
functions and contract work.
In 1993, Daisy began working with
Miami Dade County Housing Agency as an Accounts
Payable Supervisor where she supervised a staff of
10, overseeing the disbursement of operating
expenditures exceeding $30 million annually. She
then transferred to the Section 8 Housing Division
where she managed a staff of over 20 people in the
maintenance of interdepartmental agreement programs,
allocation of expenditures, budget oversight and
more. Of the 13 years that Daisy was with Miami Dade
Housing Agency, 7 of those were spent supervising
the Cash Management Division, in which she managed
the Agency’s cash average balance of $15 to $18
million, coordinated cash investments on a daily
basis, maintained long-term debt service schedules
and maintained the Home Ownership and Vista Verde
Program files where she also personally attended
closings.
In 2005,
Daisy relocated to Orlando, Florida
to be closer to her family and accepted the position
of Fiscal/Compliance Manager with the Early Learning
Coalition of Osceola County.
As the Fiscal/Compliance Manager, Daisy is
responsible for the non-profit grant accounting and
fiscal integrity functions with the Coalition,
fiscal planning, revenue and expense projections,
fiscal record keeping, and fiscal and contract
compliance.

BIOGRAPHY
Prior to joining the Early
Learning Coalition of Osceola County, Tanya has
served as Executive Assistant, Customer Service
Supervisor, Office Supervisor, and Logistics
Coordinator Assistant.
She began her
career in 1999 with
DualStar
Technologies Corporation and
Starrett
Corporation in New York City where she
provided many vital support functions for Gregory
Cuneo- CEO, Robert Birnbach -CFO, El Tangel -
Chairman, and 5 divisional Vice Presidents.
Tanya was
also involved in the re-versioning of the “Empire
State Building” book written by Paul Starrett while
working with the Starrett Corporation.
In transitioning to the non-profit
industry, Tanya began working with the
Food Bank for New York City (one of the largest food banks in the
Nation) where she shared the same mission to
end hunger by organizing food donations, compiling
vital information and support for community survival
and dignity. In her capacity as Logistics
Coordinator Assistant, Tanya coordinated the
procurement and distribution of food donations to
New York City’s poor.
Tanya obtained the 2004 Hungers Hope Award
from America’s Second Harvest for her efforts in
this capacity.
In previous
endeavours, Tanya has
designed and led planning meetings and work group
sessions for staff of all levels, from front-line
staff to senior executives.
Tanya brings more than
11 years of experience
in setting up offices, from building payroll systems
to hiring support staff and
has designed, developed, and delivered training on a wide range of topics.
Her extensive background ranges from
Building Services,
Telecommunications, Info-Structure Systems,
Investments, Procurement, Construction, Real Estate,
Logistics, Sales, and other general industries.
