Coalition Sponsored Professional Development
The Coalition realizes that enhanced teacher qualifications
provide a direct benefit to the children enrolled in early
learning programs. That is why our Coalition provides
professional development opportunities with qualified
trainers that offer a variety of topics to meet the needs of
the early educators within our community.
Preregistration is required for
Coalition sponsored professional development
opportunities. To review the registration requirements,
you may download a
Class/Series Attendance Registration Form
and submit it at
least
5 days
prior to the training start date with your payment (if
applicable) to finalize your registration.

Services
Our Coalition is
pleased to launch the Early Learning
Coalition of Osceola County Online Child
Care Professional Development Portal in
partnership with the following
organizations:
Smart Horizons, a division of
Advanced Systems Technology, Inc. and the
ChildCare Education Institute (CCEI).
These courses meet the
requirements for those seeking a CDA, CDA renewal,
Director Credential renewal, satisfy annual training
requirements and CEUs, and are available in English and
Spanish. Faith Based providers
may wish to visit
www.cdealliance.org
for professional development opportunities .
State-Mandated Child Care Trainings
Child care training is an essential part of child care
licensing. The goal of the licensing training
program is to provide early educators with the tools
necessary to ensure quality care in our early learning
programs. To do this, the Department of Children
and Families (DCF) mandates minimum introductory
training requirements along with annual continuing
education for professional development.
Office
of Early Learning Statewide Quality Initiative
The Office of Early Learning Statewide Quality
Initiative (SR-QI) is a model training and technical
assistance system designed to support the continuous
improvement of school readiness coalitions and programs
as they work to provide high quality and effective
services to children and families. The SR-QI provides
statewide, regional and local assistance to coalitions
and service providers based on an in-depth needs
assessment, strategic goals and objectives, emerging
priorities in school readiness and local requests.
