Florida's Voluntary Prekindergarten
(VPK) Program is a publicly funded program designed to
prepare four-year-old children for kindergarten and to
build a foundation for their educational success.

School Readiness
Assistance
The School Readiness program offers qualified parents
financial assistance for child care through a variety of
services. These services include extended-day,
extended-year, and school age care for children to
support parents in becoming financially self-sufficient.

Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R)
This free service provide families with individualized,
non-biased child care referrals to child care centers,
family child care homes, VPK programs, summer camps,
school-age programs, Head Start and Early Intervention
facilities.
