Professional Development Reimbursement Program
The Early Learning Coalition of Osceola County (Coalition) is committed to providing quality programs to the children and families within our community and the early learning providers are the key to the success of our quality programs.   The Professional Development Reimbursement Program is designed to assist early educators that are employed by participating early learning providers with the costs associated with enhancing their knowledge in the field of early education.

T.E.A.C.H. Early ChildhoodŽ Scholarship ProgramApple - I am a TEACHer, and I love it!

The T.E.A.C.H. Early ChildhoodŽ Scholarship Program began in 1990 in North Carolina as a small pilot program providing a single comprehensive scholarship model to 21 early childhood teachers. The project  offers a strategy for systematically improving the education, compensation and retention of the early childhood work force. The model is based on a partnership principle that involves the sharing of expenses by the teacher, director or family child care provider receiving the scholarship, the sponsoring child care facility and T.E.A.C.H.

Child Care Food Program

Nutrition is an important part of a good child care program. The Child Care Food Program (CCFP) strives to improve the diets of children in child care and to promote nutrition education. Child care providers participating in CCFP are reimbursed for meals and snacks and have access to nutritional resources, training and technical assistance.  Providers also receive assistance in practical day-to-day operations, such as menu planning and sanitation.  4C sponsors the CCFP in Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties.  If you are a licensed Family Child Care Home or Center and would like more information about the Child Care Food Program, call 407-522-2252 ext. 4324.
